Spanish as a second foreign language is now part of our PYP curriculum starting Grade 3, taught by native-speaker faculty.
Following two years of pilot lessons and strong demand from families, we're delighted to announce that Spanish will be a permanent part of our Primary Years curriculum starting Grade 3 from the 2026/2027 school year.
Two periods per week, taught by Ms. Lucia Mendoza (originally from Madrid, with 10 years of international school teaching experience). Curriculum follows the Marco Común Europeo de Referencia (CEFR), targeting A1 by end of Grade 5.
This complements our existing offerings in English (immersion), German (mother tongue or as a second language), and French (from MYP).
